He sat down beside her at the large octagonal table, his butt sinking into the plush green cushions of the swivel-based chair. “This is amazing, Miranda.”

She smiled, digging into the bag for a grape. “Business is doing pretty well.” She slipped a fat green grape between her lips, and chewed thoughtfully. “Well, it had been doing well until recently.”
