Review & Giveaway: Cari Quinn's NO FLOWERS REQUIRED

No Flowers Required by Cari Quinn

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Nothing makes me happier than cracking a Cari Quinn book. Not just because she's my CP. (no, she didn't pay me to say it either. *slips $5 in purse*) It's because this girl...ahem, woman...knows how to draw a reader in and keep them.

Dillon James has made it his goal to avoid the trappings of the corporate side of his family's business, but he realizes he needs to take a more active role when his parents decide to retire. The only problem? He's met an amazing woman that thinks he's just a handyman and hates his legacy, Value Hardware, with a fiery passion.

So what's a man to do?

Stupid man.

But...I can't blame him. Ha had no idea just how important Alexa Conroy was going to become to his heart, his head, and his future.

And Cari makes sure that the boy has to work for every lie. And that's why I love her.

Alexa is another strong female lead as only Cari knows how to write. She makes sure that her characters are evenly matched both in the bedroom and intellectually.

With witty dialogue, a rooftop scene that could NEVER be adequately reviewed...instead, it must be experienced, and a twisty road to happily ever after--I truly loved this book.

I love how she made the pieces of Alexa and Dillon fit and merged them into better people by the end of the story. And the supporting cast of characters will leave you breathless for more of their story. ESPECIALLY Cory. People...when you get to Cory's story you are going to be in such trouble.

Read this book.

It's one helluva follow up to NO DRESS REQUIRED. View all my reviews

Love Required - Book Two - by Cari Quinn

He’ll give her everything she desires…except his identity.

Flower shop owner Alexa Conroy had it all before the recession hit and her customers fled to cheaper shopping grounds. Desperate to make ends meet, she sells her dream home and moves into the rundown apartments above her shop. When she spots six feet of sexy distraction—complete with muscles, piercings, and tattoos—ripping up flooring, Alexa knows the karmic windfall she’s due just landed on her doorstep.

And the attraction’s definitely not one-sided.

Dillon James, reluctant heir to the corporation about to foreclose on Alexa’s shop, is not about to jeopardize their scorching chemistry by admitting he’s not the building’s handyman. But with only weeks until her business goes under and his identity is revealed, Dillon must find a way to convince Alexa cooperation isn’t a dirty word, help her save the shop from his brother’s greed, and persuade her that he’s not the enemy…or risk losing the only woman who’s seen the real him.
